I know old sentrius was a libertarian so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on this one, but can I assume you're thisnindignant anytime an article quotes "a senior administration official"? I mean this is literally how D.C. has operated for almost 60 years.

More like small government conservative who's had a reckoning with some of my previously held beliefs, particularly on immigration and a sheer hatred for islam and we may need to take some extreme measures to prevent it breaching western civilization to a catastrophic level.

There's a difference between leaking gossip bits about the work environment politicians operate in and while its inappropriate, its nothing that's police state like but illegally leaking sensitive classified documents especially when there's no criminal wrong doing identified yet is another thing entirely.
There's a line between political assassination and exposing criminal acts.
