Are you arguing we shouldn't be listening to the calls of the Russian ambassador?

No.

Again, none of this happens if Flynn doesn't lie.

Not the point. It should've been handled internally and not leaked to the press.

Even employees of the executive branch seeking to undermine their boss?

and I'll give you a hint on the next problem area... this Preibus/Bannon co-chairmanship is not sustainable. There needs to be a clear heiracrchy

Agreed.

I don't want either of them as Bannon is taking the burn it all down approach a bit too far even though I like his anger towards politicians who seek to protect status quo.

Reince is suspected of having not even a basic idea of DC dynamics and its kind of showing. I don't like that.

Newt is the best of both worlds and none of the bad. He needs to be chief of staff.

YES! That is the most important reason. To bring it to the masses to let them decide. If it's a nothingburger then it gets no traction. Corrollary to the free marketplace of ideas.

Obviously this one had legs. But the real legs were Flynn's lack of character and integrity. Again I don't understand why you're wasting political capital on Michael fricking Fynn.
