It's absolutely amazing you think Trump gives a shite about gay issues in the way you think he does.

Liberals have been claiming that the GOP needs a secular non religious guy that doesn't care about social issues and here we have that in Trump and y'all are doubling down on the boogeyman bullshite.

Y'all are dishonest hacks.

It's possible that instead of firing him, Trump is going to try and stake out a middle ground here and demote Flynn to deputy or some other post because he really likes him and values loyalty as he's one of the OGs of the Trump campaign when nobody gave him a chance.

It will be done if the bad press escalates.
When has a political appointee ever been punitively demoted and yet still remained with an administration? Honest question. I doubt it happens.

What Trump may do is freeze him out of the inner circle and strip him of any influence while allowing him to keep his rank and title until there's an opportune time for him to "voluntarily" leave for "family" or "health" reasons.

Yeah, all of the reports are that the career (non-political) folks at the NSC agencies are running away as fast as they can to avoid being tainted by Trump's idiocy.

That's stupid and counterproductive if true.

Good luck to them getting anything done without a good working relationship with the White House, their political appointees and the power they have.

Trump is all about breaking precedents. This is no different.

Whatever happens with Flynn, Trump will take care of him and make sure he comes out of this with as little damage as he can possibly have. He values loyalty.

Not as counterproductive and stupid as being a $160k a year bureaucrat or senior officer standing trial for some shite multimillionaire politicians and appointees might have pulled.

Damn, the devolved quickly...anyone in this administration better sure keep an ear out for buses lest they find themselves flying through the air directly under one....

So if this dude is batshit crazy...and I am not denying it....isn't Trump at least partially responsible for his being in any kind of position to be anywhere near the white house?

So if Flynn did all that's alleged and then lied about it to his own admin you think it's some sign of leadership that Trump would "take care of him?"

frick that. Get your head out of your arse, snowflake.

I suspect that if Flynn did something wrong, his arse would be out.

Mind your own bidness. Nobody joins the government to get rich. That's an okay salary but it's near the top of the scale. There are much better businesses to be in to make real money.

Self interest or making sure the administration doesn't frick up?

The great conundrum of our times.
