Really. At the bottom the document cites ITSELF as the source for the data.

Uh, that's because they did the study. If they cited another source and linked to it then at the bottom of that source they would cite themselves as the source.
But, if you've got another stat I'd love to see it.

I just searched their site for any evidence that an actual "study" was done and there was no trace of it. Again, pulling numbers out of their asses.

But looking at the graphic, I'm having a hard time reconciling a total estimated illegal population of 60,000 giving rise to education costs of $132,000,000.00. If you multiply the entire 60,000 by the cost spent per child in Louisiana on education you get close to the total, but we can't assume that every undocumented person is enrolled in public education. I would guess that the vast majority are adults.

The other numbers are also without any possible basis in what we could describe as good faith estimates. There is simply nothing backing this up except an anti-immigration organization which admits it created the graphic. There is nothing to suggest that any of it is based on anything.

While they were at it they should have also said that 50,000 violent crimes are committed by illegal aliens in Louisiana each year. If you are going to go all fascist against the scapegoats, why stop anywhere? If you are going to publish lies, go big.
