It is a story because there is already a distrust between the black community and the judicial system--I'm not arguing there is or isn't. If a judge is openly and loudly using racial slurs in public, can't you see how that may compromise his position and cause an even bigger rift between the black community and judicial system--a sitting judge being racist?
