This is newsworthy? No one with any sense would buy 3 heads of iceberg at one time, so there's no need to ration. Not to mention, it has almost no nutritional value compared to just about any other green leafy vegetable. Have the British ever heard of romaine, red leaf, bibb, watercress, spinach, etc?

The bigger story is the severe chive shortage in Ireland. What are the Irish to do with all those plain potatoes?!?
