I'll admit up front that I've always paid a guy (Orkin, J&J, etc) to come do my in home lest control. The orkin man came today, and I finally asked what he treats the interior and exterior of my home with. It turns out, they just used talstar pro. These MF'ers have been charging me $77 every 2 months for something I can order on Amazon?! Well, guess who just fired the Orkin man?
Q1: Is Talstar pro actually safe for indoor use?
Q2: What mixture ratio should I use? 1oz per gal water?
Q3: Will Talstar pro hurt the bees? (Assuming I don't go spray it on the plants?)

I'm not sure how long they have been using it, but I've not been seeing dead bees.
I am supposed to be getting a few colonies out on my property in March, so I'm just being extra careful.

1 oz. of Talstar is termite stength. Read the label and it will tell you depending on what pest you are trying to control. Google it!

I don't use Talstar in homes I spray. I like to use a little better product to control spiders but every home should have a tailored treatment process depending on the the time of the year and the environmental surrounding on the home. A process of using a combination of liquids, dusts, granules and baits is what most treatment programs consist of. At least mine do..

He does put bait traps for ants, or that's what he says.
They used to used different products outside and inside, but lately it's just been talstar. He's gone, so now I'm going to take care of it myself.

Talstar is good (bifenthrin)
But I find demon (cypermethrin) to be just as good and you can spray it inside. Pretty cheap too

Not sure about bees, but i use ortho max inside and out. $11 at any hardware store will last over a year. I rarely see a bug and when i do it's dead.
