I don't buy the common indignation that the likes of us display at this; none of us is above the crossing of a political line in the dirt against the wishes of those who drew it. There is plenty of room in a human conscience for both the enforcement of the law as well as unequivocal empathy for illegals.

What an odd claim. What does "plenty of room in a human conscience" even mean in the context of criminal aliens and their wishes for easier plunder??

I agree with the last sentence. But is the first sentence an attempt to establish yourself as one of those "borders are just imaginary lines" people? I thought we were way past that.
