I get that he seems to be a POS from your description, that does not make him a thief in this scenario however. You seem to have tried your best to help him out and it sucks it turned out this way.

Just try to be the better man and let it go, using the cops to hammer him is not going to be remembered fondly by either yourself or your family as the years pass by.

shite, I really don't give a frick, They can have everything and kiss my arse goodbye,except for 1 thing.
If you get convicted of anything labeled domestic violence,even a misdemeanor, you can never legally buy another gun.
