No Jake Allemand. Dad was CL's QB in the late 80's early 90's and played for Nicholls.
He had a good year 178/333 2389 yds, 26 tds. Was 1st Team All-District, 1st team All-Region, 5th Leading passer in the state, and was avging nearly 20 more yards per game than Hodson did his senior year at CL.
He's another kid that didn't get much exposure because he missed nearly his entire sophomore year with a leg injury, and missed his entire junior year with a broken collar bone.

No his dad is obviously David Robinson, but people call him Craig. He was a very good RB at CL in the late 80's and played college ball at Mcneese & Nicholls.

Committing to bama or KU?

Craig was a beast runningback. I will see him in a few weeks. I will ask him what's up with junior.

Ironically our other WR is getting interest from Navy.
Are you talking about Poindexter?

Gage Bourg was probably the best receiver last year. Great kid and plays with a chip on his shoulder. He and David were CO MVP on the team. David and Kenneth will be very good receivers for us next year.I coached these kids in Bantam for 1 year and then they moved up and and I wasn't able to coach them again but i watch them grow into what they are today. Keep their heads screwed on right. They should get a shot somewhere.

He's pretty damn fast that's for sure. CL could be a lot better if they didn't blitz every down. Their offense was pretty good.

Their dad's would bust their arse if they didn't. Do they run track? I ran with Kenneth's dad and uncle and they were fast 400m guys. I don't think either of them were 6'4", junior would kill it.

CL better trim the fat on the coaching staff and finally turn that corner in football because Sanders has the basketball program rolling. The best athletes will eventually focus on just basketball.
When I was a kid all the kids in the neighborhood would gather at the empty lots and play football all day. Now, I ride down my street and there are 3-4 houses with 15-20 kids each playing basketball everyday. Including our projected starting QB next year, everyday he's shooting hoops not throwing a football.
