The conspiracy theories are because it's fricking KANSAS. They're a laughing stock football program that went winless as recently as two years ago. Hell, their "signature" win last season was over a 7 loss Longhorns team coached by the worst coach in that school's history. There doesn't seem like a logical reason how a team like that is getting kids to fall over one another to commit to them.

Jimmy seems like he's trying to stop it from getting any bigger than message board talk. He probably knows that is exactly what's going down.
