Entirely possible, though unlikely unless he's a massive troll. Some people say he's sitting on it for more money, but I don't think there's more money to be had, so the logic doesn't really follow.

Just a theory.
Good point about the money. My observation with him is that it's more about soaking in the glow of the popularity and enjoying the level that he's reached.

No shite.
If it turns out that HBO didn't diverge much from his story in the past season, his profits are going to nosedive because the interest in the books would have flatlined.
