Move to Orleans and tell me how much cheaper the property taxes are compared to the rest of the country. Tangi--okay 1/2 of what Orleans is.

I owned two homes in Orleans parish
one in Algiers and one in lakeview
I don't remember what the property taxes were but it's not germane

the fact of the matter is with the exemption LA property owners pay less than comparable states in property taxes which cannot be avoided except thru BS assessments. Property owners are invested in the community and avail themselves of the various services provided by the municipality and state as a result. every other state manages to balance property taxes with a lower sales tax and in some instances no income tax

you don't see the issue?

La has the highest homestead exemption in the nation, making it the lowest tax burdened state when it comes to property taxes.

Care to enlighten on your specific tax burden (or Orleans)? How about some substance instead of a whiny retard comeback.
