Haha, sure they can. And we can get our technology elsewhere. No state is self sufficient when. You start going to that level.

I know what you're saying, but California is the world's 6th largest economy on its own. I think they'd be OK without anyone else. They essentially subsidize large sections of the US that aren't holding up their ends of the bargain. To your point, we're still all better off together than not.
