News you've been waiting for: Ragin' Cajuns set to announce new AD

The press conference is scheduled for Wednesday February 1 at 1 PM.
LSU's Deputy Director of Athletics Eddie Nunez was a finalist, but it sounds like he missed out on the job and it will instead go to Missouri's Executive Associate Atheltic Director Dr. Bryan Maggard. -- This isn't confirmed, but it's been strongly hinted that those two were the finalists and Maggard has been chosen
Ex-Missouri A.D. Mike Alden was hired by the University last year as a consultant for the athletic department, and one of his recommendations was to fire Scott Farmer and hire a new A.D. Not surprising that someone he's worked with for a long time was one of the finalists.
Both guys have a lot of experience overseeing facility improvements, which is one of the two biggest goals of the Athletic Dept. right now. Missouri also was involved in a conference move in the not too distant past, which is another major goal of the department.

I expect the number of safe spaces on ULL campus to increase substantially with this hire.

no way this guy got the job.
I mean, he looks like he just got off the rigs and is on his way to the tapout room. Him and HUD are like peas and carrots in lafayette.
