Don't talk college accolades with lsu fans. They don't care about that. Their program exists only to feed souls to the NFL. They want kids that can come in, be ok with never winning anything more than a 3rd tier bowl game and go to the NFL after 3 yrs so the Saints can hopefully get competitive again since they never get to see their college team win even a divisional championship.
They're not into those college awards. Just pro bowls. It is a long-term vision they have with their college recruiting.
And don't tell them that they are what the rest of the country sees them as... a sacrificial lamb. And as long as saban is around, they will be no better than anyone else in the $EC. After all, they have the same number of rings and trophies as Vanderbilt in the last 5 years. All that money they save not having to upgrade their trophy case is spent on getting the top recruits that fit the above bill.
