Every year it always amazes me how fans act when a kid decides to not go to their school. These are 17-18 year old kids who are having big time college football programs coming after them, each one giving their own pitch as to why he should go to their school, etc.

They have to evaluate each situation.. Where will they have the best opportunity? Should they stay close to home so their family can watch them play or should they move away.. And get away from the elements they grew up around (for the ones who grew up in bad areas, not every recruit comes from a bad area). This decision isn't just about the next four years of their life, it goes beyond that. So I really wish people would just stop bashing the kids. Its okay to follow the recruiting commitments, I like to see what type of classes everyone puts together. And I like to keep up on NSD, but I will never get mad, upset, pissed at a kid for doing what he feels is in his best interest.

The people that do need help. I can somewhat let it slide when it's young kids doing it, but it blows my mind when adults do it. I love LSU Football, but it's just a fricking game. There are a lot of bad things going on in the world to get pissed off at. A Louisiana recruit not going to LSU is not one of them.
