Do you honestly believe that Trump didn't know this guy was going to walk away based on what we've been hearing from Mexico? Dude, get a damned clue. Trump knew he wasn't going to come to the table. It's called buying leverage. Some of you people must either be in your 20's or have never had any real world business dealings.

Maybe. Or maybe Trump overplayed his hand. Maybe he underestimated Nieto's backbone. Neither of us knows right now how this will turn out or whether Trump has helped or hurt his diplomatic relationship with Pieto. Period.
What I do know is there are a bunch of basement dwelling, chest puffing Trumpkins on this forum who think that we can cut off relations with China and Mexico with little to no consequence.
