Cheaper than that: Nope. Litigation costs alone will be mind-boggling. The vast majority of land along the border is privately owned. I guess they're just going to force all those citizens to sell their land. Or will they just seize it? So much freedom and liberty, right?

While I think the pen is mightier than the mortar right now you can't really be saying that ANY country has no borders if a citizen lives there?

How much space is needed for a wall? Right offhand, I'd think many property owners would like to have a wall rather than a steady stream of illegals coming through.
