No they don't.If you have an onboard navigation they can certainly track you but there's no GPS device on post 2010 cars that sends out real time coordinates.

Hmm, was going by what was said in the show, I don't know myself.

I haven't watched the show but it looks like the premise of The Running Man by Stephen King, which was really nothing like the Schwarzenegger movie.

I was just coming by to post that this show IS The Running Man short story by King AKA Richard Bachman.
First published in 1982, just a little ahead of his time.

Apparently there are some finer details not mentioned that the contestants must complete in order to win the money.
I think each has to access an ATM twice. I think they each have to make contact with a known confidant twice.
There was a thread/article I saw somewhere that people had discovered these. If not, you could easily spend a month in the woods with just bottled water and canned goods.
It is interesting learning about all the different things we leave. I'm personally pulling for the ex-con turned attorney. They've had a pretty legit plan if it wasn't for the bombshell writing their plans down on the calendar below. Also, had no clue about all our mail being photographed. That system of mailing people specific email accounts and then using drafts of emails to communicate was some next level fricking shite!

That explains a lot. I don't remember hearing that at all.

I am amazed out how willing others are to talk to the hunters.

Al-Queda was doing this 15 years ago. NSA caught on pretty quick and we monitored that shite for a few years until they figured it out.
