Brian France is simply trying too hard to reinvent the wheel. The chase isn't necessary. Let the man who's been the most consistent claim the title. No need for a playoff. No need for segments in a 400 mile race. They're manufacturing drama for the sake of having drama.

Because that is what drew so many to Nascar and he single-handedly killed it. Let them race production cars with added safety equipment at lower speeds and let them race like they used to. Problem solved.
