Back in the m-'80s when Cosby (a show I din't like, FWIW) was at its height, there was an article (in TV Guide IIRC) about how hugely popular it was with every single demographic group: older adults, younger adults, children, white, black, male, female, urban, suburban, rich, middle class, working class, etc etc etc... Cosby was in the top 5 of every single one of those groups. We'll probably never see anything like that, with Cosby's enormous overall numbers, ever again.
