NFC South became the first division since the league's realignment to have all four teams reach the Superbowl with Atlanta's win yesterday.

Who cares though? Atlanta winning doesn't help the saints.

Well it's not like we have to recruit against them like in college

Losing doesn't either, so what's your point?

If memory serves me correctly Denver beat Atlanta in a Super Bowl something like 34-19. Look it up

It would be some awesome symmetry or whatever you want to call it for New England to beat the Falcons in the Superbowl.
Denver beat the Falcons, then
Denver beat the Panthers
New England beat the panthers, then
New England beat the Falcons
Denver beat the Falcons, then
Denver beat the Panthers
New England beat the panthers, then
New England beat the Falcons

One other fun fact is for the second straight year we will have a rematch of the SB teams next year in the regular season.

But this is Atlanta's second trip to the Super Bowl.

The most recent re-alignment of the divisions, I see. This most recent re alignment has lasted for a long time. I can why many might regard this as a permanent arrangement.
The NFL used to realign divisions on a fairly regular basis. Then of course THE Re-alignment was back in 1970 or so when the American Football League merged with the National Football League. This might be the last Merger. There were others before that.
But, yes, the NFL South is a strong division, maybe the strongest in the whole league. It will be tough for the Saints to improve enough to dominate this division. The Saints may well be the weakest roster in the division.

Exactly. On Sundays next fall, when the Fox affiliates in Birmingham, Montgomery, and Huntsville choose between the Falcons and the Saints next year, they are probably picking the Falcons, whereas years before, the Saints were winning that battle.

Yep. The Saints market share will now be shrinking in those areas. It's just the way it is. People are not going to be watching year after year of losing football when they have so many other options.
