Sony Bravia smart TV help

TV is around two years old and past warranty. I've never had any problems with it until now. Last night, we were going to watch a movie. I hit the Netflix button and while Netflix was loading (logo on the screen), my daughter said the movie was actually on our on demand.
I hit the home button on the remote to exit out of Netlix. Our TV then went black. The bottom light on the TV (typically green to indicate that the TV is power on) no just flashes red 6 or so times. I've tried unplugging the TV, but when I power it back on, I hear audio of whatever channel, but no picture. This lasts a few seconds and then it cuts back off (with the red flashing light). I've tried a factory reset (hold down the up button while pressing the power button located on the side of the TV set). Nothing works.
Any suggestions? Should I call Geek Squad?

Same thing happened to mine about a year ago. Took it to Geek Squad and they shipped it to Dallas for inspection. Could not be fixed. I bought a power board for $40 just to see if it would fix the problem. Had to buy a new TV.

Were you able to leave Netflix and access your main cable or Direct/Dish programming?
