The Abyss. I was a young lad and my parents were out of town for the weekend. My wife, girlfriend at the time, had been dating several months and she came to spend the night. We rented a movie and popped it into the VCR. Yeah, like I said, I was young. DVDs were just becoming popular. It was a pretty boring date movie, and that was sort of the point.
