No one doubted julio was great. The question was whether 3 #1's is too much.

I said at the time i would not do it.
Guys get injured.
Julio misses games.

Chris weber for penny and two other #1s. W's should have stayed pat. The weber contract was so stupid. Worst ever compounded trade error.

The w's snooker mnpls into paying them 3 #1's for the olympic power forward who IMMEDIATELY got career_injured.

Nice for atl that it worked out so far. I would never do it. 3 good #1's is a sure thing. I am never making that bet even though the player you move up to get is (upon later reflection) julio, montana or mj.

I remember seeing jack sikma vs a decent corzine in college when corzine had a complete team around him and illinois wesleyan made a game if it. Sikma was d-2. Sikma was better. Sikma has a ring. I would have picked sikma #1 overall. I would not have dealt three #1s to get him instead of the depaul front line, all decent nba players.

I guess if you have a chance to get a trascendent player "you" pull the trigger..

Injuries, drugs, guns, women, dogs. Who guessed that petrinos nfl career would be ended by dog fighting?

I am too conservative. Julio has missed enough games already that i am reinforced in my position.

What?They didnt trade 3 #1's.They swapped #1's in '11 and traded their #1 in '12.

They also threw in a #2 and two #4's
