This is all theoretical anyway. And theoretically, you think Russia will deploy their forces to invade so secretly that no one will see it coming?

This idea that Russia will somehow roll through Eastern Europe like a hot knife through butter is a joke. They're not ready for a war with NATO, and no, I don't fall into propaganda hype. A neutered NATO is still better militarily than Russia. In a world where ATGMs are wrecking everything tank on the battlefield, rushing through the Baltics or Poland will be hell without air and naval superiority, which Russia wouldn't have.

Anyway, British tactics and training are better than Russia's and they would win alongside their NATO allies in a theoretical war with Russia. Especially if it was brought to the isles

Most of their forces are already deployed close to their border. They could be ready to roll in a few days at most.

I'm sorry but that is complete and total horseshite. I honestly hope you're not stupid enough to believe any of that drivel you just typed. Before you post any more here and show just how clueless to the European situation of toady you truly are, I suggest you do a lot of research.

It's been years since the British have conducted anything above battalion or regimental maneuvers. Even the one division they do have left would take weeks (like 6-8 weeks) of training before it could meet even MINIMUM combat standards. The Russians on the other hand have for the past several years conducted huge training maneuvers to ensure their forces are capable of carrying out large scale "theatre" sized missions. Russia is ready for war today while NATO would take weeks or months to be ready for anything.

In other words, Russia has spent the last decade building up and training their forces. The British (and the rest of NATO) have not.

I don't think it will be a blitzkrieg attack but rather a slow infiltration amongst the local populace. It's likely to be a somewhat of an ambiguous attack at first. It would buy NATO some time for an effective full scale response.
