Yes because they won't mobilize anyone in the case of an imminent war

Mobilize? Bwahahahahahaha

1. How long do you think it would take Britain to mobilize a force large enough to have any effect on a major modern European battlefield? I'll give you a hint, think in terms of months, not weeks.

2. How long do you think a European War would last if Russia invaded the Baltic countries or Poland tomorrow? I'll give you a hint, think in terms of hours or at best days.

In other words, by the time Britain scratched together a reserve force, the war would have been over for weeks.

"Mobilize". Give me a break.

This is all theoretical anyway. And theoretically, you think Russia will deploy their forces to invade so secretly that no one will see it coming?

This idea that Russia will somehow roll through Eastern Europe like a hot knife through butter is a joke. They're not ready for a war with NATO, and no, I don't fall into propaganda hype. A neutered NATO is still better militarily than Russia. In a world where ATGMs are wrecking everything tank on the battlefield, rushing through the Baltics or Poland will be hell without air and naval superiority, which Russia wouldn't have.

Anyway, British tactics and training are better than Russia's and they would win alongside their NATO allies in a theoretical war with Russia. Especially if it was brought to the isles

If Russia can keep their supply chain rolling, the entire continent would be theirs before the U.S. or UK could field a response. The tanks would overrun the airfields before we could even get our bombers off the ground.

At that point, the UK would have no choice but to sue for peace because neither side would be a threat to the other.
