Fantastic movie. A- for me, really enjoyed it.
Im surprised at some of you's less than respect for Kroc's achievement. The McDonald's brothers would have never had anymore than 1% the success that Kroc had. They just didnt have the drive he had and business sense that expanded beyond a few locations. If the McDonalds brothers had his abilities they wouldn't have needed him. He made McDonalds a mega success and they profited off his achievements. I feel no remorse for them.

The real dick move from Kroc was trying to run their lone store out of business.
McDonald's wouldn't be a worldwide brand without Kroc but that doesn't mean he wasn't a dick too.
Plenty of folks built a better mousetrap. Apple saw the Xerox GUI for the mouse and bought it and built their system around the mouse and GUI. Microsoft saw the Apple GUI and built one too.
Innovators get screwed all the time.

I agree with this. If the McDonald's brothers would have actually been true business partners with Kroc and didn't deny all of his request, they would have been just as successful. Also, a handshake deal for royalties, come on
