It's like he isn't any better from the day he stepped up on campus. It's hard to imagine when you're 7'1

4* recruit that was a project from the get go at a program that was the wrong fit for him as far as style of play.

I feel bad for Elbert because he's so mismatched with this "system" that JJ uses, but he's 7'1" 300 pounds, no vertical, moves like his feet are cinder blocks, and plays with no passion.

The fact that JJ hasn't been able to at least make him serviceable is just inexcusable.

A kid that size in college (with no defensive 3 seconds) should at least be able to play defense by planting himself square in the lane and holding his arms out.
