I've found that the easiest way to stay on a healthy diet is to cook in bulk and prep meals one time a week. Use your oven or grill to cook chicken breasts, lean beef, or fish on a Sunday evening. I would always shop on Saturdays and marinate the meat overnight (make sure you make your meals somewhat tasty without using butter or fattening sauces). Prepare enough for lunch Monday through Friday. Pair your protein with a vegetable or something like brown rice/quinoa. Make sure to change it up and keep it interesting so you don't get burnt out on one dish. Not a bad idea to bring a fresh piece of fruit with you too (it can help kick that sweets craving). Skipping that fast food meal will make a huge difference in your overall health. Plus, it will save you lots of money.
