Agreed. But I do get just helping her understand what could potentially trigger people in today's society. Also understand the school's desire to not be sued, but I wouldn't stand for my kid being made into the villain like this.

Can I get mad next time a black person refers to me as white, instead of obviously addressing me as "English-Irish-American"?
News flash: Not all blacks are from Africa, so calling every black persons African-American is just stupid. Also, not all blacks in this country are descendants of slaves and this false entitlement shite needs to stop.
