Belle Sod. Order 6 or more pallets and they deliver is how it works I believe. Dont know if river sand was a great idea.

I lay about 300 pallets of sod per month. Sod on sand is no problem. We grade most of our lots with 100 percent sand in the winter because it's to wet to do anything else.

I haven't seeded a yard in years. I have seeded with centipede and carpet grass. Centipede will take over the carpet grass in a year. The below is directly from my sod farm. They grow about 1000 acres per year.

If you plant at the end of February or beginning of March it could take 30 days or more depending on the temperature. If you plant in June or July it could be 2 weeks or less. We just plant the seed.
