My wife will watch off an on. She loves going to car shows and field trips with our group as long as there is a mall somewhere close by!

Yes Sir. We have our priorities and they have theirs.
Another reason our 'chase vehicle' is a van!

You never did answer my question of what you have, in response to having to get rid of one before acquiring another.

Nice. Used to hate those second gen camaros, but have come to appreciate how they've been overlooked for so long. Especially when the butted right up to the 69e that everyone loves.

The market appear to be feeling the same way as wel.

I kind of grew up with Camaro's. My first was a 68 RS/SS 396. Was beat up when I bought it. Didn't have the money to put in it. Sold it to a friend that totaled it and almost killed himself. It was a bad car, too much weight in the front, poor brakes, bad (bias) tires. Married my wife and she had a 70 Rally Sport, nothing special just a good get around car. Bought a new 74 Z28 and I wish I had bought something else. 74 was the beginning of dark years of Camaro history.
I would buy another 68/69 if I found something special. With today's aftermarket products, you can make a really good driver out of them.

Split bumper camaros are my favorite. Love the "f bomb" one they used in one of the fast and furious movies.

I love them too. As I posted, the BB was too much weight in the front even with heavy springs. The 302/350 was more than enough to get that thing rolling. The BB was just for bragging.

nurse still hasn't posted a pic of the sold sticker girls arse like we asked earlier.

I wasn't able to get close enough. By the time we went back in the auction tent...it was right before Burt came out so the place was insanely packed. Thankfully they let me push my dad into the bidding area in the back so he could see while sitting in his wheelchair. Just got home, I took a ton of pics. Will try to post some before I go to bed. Dad enjoyed it all, said it was "quite the experience"

Glad you & your Dad were able to get close. I know he had a great time. If you don't get to the pics tonight, just add them tomorrow.

but is strangely in favor of trying to make a Barrett Jackson 2018 trip.

Let her know that there is a massive section that is nothing but vendors. And most of the vendors are selling stuff that has NOTHING to do with cars. Lots of jewelry, clothes, women's purses, etc.

Another plus to bringing your wife/gf to Barrett Jackson....she will be more willing to watch it on tv with you the following years.

First thing we did when we got home...put the tv on to watch the rest of tonight's auctions.

Yes I did. We went through all 6 outside tents walking up and down looking at those cars AND all the cars located in the main massive tents. Were there from 12 pm until almost 8 pm. I would have taken more pics...but I was also pushing my dad in a wheelchair.
