I think an iconic player like Julio Jones could help with that. With that being said, ATL needs to win a title in one of its three big sports to grab some attention.

Personally, I kind of like the fact that Atlanta is viewed as a place with people from out of state that have their own fav. teams.

It is a melting pot for sure. I do agree it's interesting to have many different groups. On the flip side it is annoying when their fans show up in force to one of our games

This is absolutely the main reason, and I was one of those for the 5 years I lived there. I'd attend Braves and Hawks games for fun but I really couldn't have cared less how they did. Actually, the only Hawks games I went to was to watch my team, the Grizzlies

Additionally, the GA natives are college fans first, which also doesn't help
