I used to combine "suddenly" and "all of a sudden".
So I would say "all of a suddenly"
My wife corrected me everytime I did it for like a year and I finally say "all of a sudden"
Sometimes a woman's nagging works I suppose

Was just reminded of one that grates on me. I have noticed a recent trend of people writing "all of the sudden" instead of "all of a sudden". Not sure why but it really bothers me when I see it. I've never noticed it in spoken word, though.
