There's a very easy way to decrease the use of food stamps. Rather than allow recipients just to buy whatever they want at the grocery store, have designated food depots stocked will all nutritious staples. It would be the only place food stamps were accepted. Meat, bread, fruits and vegetables, etc. only. No junk food. No soda, etc. If you want I eat poorly, you are free to do it on your own dime.
Michelle Obama is an advocate for nutritious meals. Big city libs want to tax "sugary soda." We constantly hear the the poor don't have access to nutritious food. Well, now they would. How could the left be against that plan? Healthy food on the govt dime. Win/win, right?
