For the most part, the US has most of the region as allies. Certainly, it has the most powerful countries in the region as allies.
If the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is no longer an ally, the. Several other countries in the region will follow. Granted, the ME is not a center of peace and harmony... But it could be shite tons worse. And the first pound of getting to that shite ton starts with the loss of SA as a somewhat reliable partner in the region.
