Felt like last night was "Flea Night" on the tour. He looked to be having the time of his life up there. They jammed with Ivan Neville, George Porter Jr, Trombone Shorty, and Rebirth for a solid 10 minutes or so. I know they've jammed on stage with these guys before, but it's always cool to see and (obviously) different.
One odd moment of the night, the crowd was going crazy for the encore. I don't know if I've seen the arena that hyped between set and encore set. People got out their phones and lit up the place. Was cool.

It was a great show. I went with my son, and many times during the show I told him, "Flea is the best" or "Wow. Flea is so good live."
He was a legit music superstar last night.
I've heard the "No Frusciante, no care," argument before, but I don't really buy it. Flea is the heartbeat of that band. As long as there's Flea and Anthony, there's a Red Hot Chili Peppers.
I saw the Saenger show in 1989, and the Smashing Pumpkins/Pearl Jam/Red Hot Chili Peppers show in 1992 (I think). I never thought in 1989 that I would be watching the same band in 2016, with my kid, who's the same age as I was, then. It was a really cool night. Felt like a visit with old friends who had new stories to tell.

Were there tits on the big screen, during set to encore set?
If not, then last night was shite compared to when they last played in the SKC. Tits >>>> flash lights on phones.
