So here's what went down ... we've finally got the whole story.

It was the day after Christmas, morning time, the store had just opened (notice the showcases are all open for restocking).

Owner and employee were stocking the shelves for the day, bringing guns out of the safe, etc. Two customers were already in the store.

Bad guys walk in and demand everyone get down on the floor or they would kill everyone.

Owner pulls his Wilson Combat 1911 in defense (with an 8 round mag and one in the pipe) and fires three shots at the closet perp ... hitting the bad guy first time 3 inches right of center in the sternum and then one of the next two shots, as the bad guy is going down, hits the bad guy in the face just under his eye. That one ended it immediately.

Dead bad guy on the floor was carrying two pistols, one a Glock in 40 S&W with a 33 round mag and the other a Glock 22LR ... you can see both of those dropped in the video.

Owner then fires four times at second bad guy who had taken cover behind another case and then runs out the door ... he is still at large (but they know who he is). Owner told two customers not to run out of store after second bad guy ... it proved prophetic as video from another store shows second bad guy turned at corner of strip mall and waited for someone to come out of the door to fire upon them, but no one chased so there were lives saved right there.

The shattered glass case was the result of the first guy firing a shot at the owner which barely missed the owner, went through the glass showcase top and lodged in the door behind him.

Owner was shooting FMJ (45 ACP ball ammo to those of us who served back in the day) in his 1911.

Owner normally was loaded with Federal HPs but but he had been shooting the day before and had not cleaned and reloaded his pistol with his normal PD load yet ... so he still had the ball practice ammo loaded.

Dead bad guy is from New Orleans and just recently moved to Atlanta with family. Family are good people ... kid was bad kid.

Other kid on the loose is from Atlanta and he has a record ... he is still at large.
