These things have been going on since the early 80's.
We have had 3 Republican and 2 Democratic presidents during that time and none have decided to sink those boats.
The Iranian "navy" is nothing more than a bunch of gnats flying around and annoying everyone.

The U.S. Navy swings a big dick. No fricks given to the tiny boats that stay 900 yards away, and pose zero threat.
