(like me) Patterned the factory chokes on my maxus and they sucked. Got some carlsons and they patterned much better, switched to better ammo and it got even better. I just dont want to have to remember to aim "a little lower to the left" for the center of shot to be on the bird. Now when I miss, its all my fault :)

I went from factory modified on my 870 and shooting Xperts to a Redhead Blackout Mid-Range (it's is a light-modified and made by Carlson's) shooting Kent Fasteel and Hevi-Metal and my cripple numbers have plummeted and my range is much better even with a less constricted choke.
