That is an oversimplification. Though some of her positions could be categorized that way, in general it is more a factor of near rabid enforcement of federal secularism over panentheism in any form. Christianity just happens to be the most common such expression in this country. In fairness, Obama seemed much more aligned with squashing public Christian expression. Hillary simply did not counter that.

He courted the black evangelical vote masterfully and it got him elected twice. I can't think of any examples of him courting white evangelicals at all.
