there are actually a ton of winners under ACA. The thing is they probably don't realize how much ACA helps them. And the losers realize how much ACA hurts them.
This lends itself to the notion that ACA sucks balls being wildly accepted. But if it were to go away, there could a lot of people holding the bag, especially people ages 50-65. Who can't get coverage on the open market, and would pay higher premiums without ACA limits.
They were more likely to vote for trump.

You are greatly exaggerating. Patients with pre-existing conditions are winners, kids under 26 are winners, and the highest utilizers under the poverty line are winners.
The younger, healthier below poverty are now paying for a product they didn't previously desire. The middle class young and healthy are getting screwed like no one else. And the adult middle class is now paying more toward the cost of care than at any point in their lifetime.
You could scrap the entire damn thing with the exception of the "no denial for pre-existing conditions" and realize across the board improvement in every category but overall national coverage. I realize that is the "end all, be all" (i.e. access) according to certain people, but it's being gained at the expense of improved cost and lower quality. ANd the people actually paying for it think that's a flawed ideology.
