quote:

“These defensive backs are athletic and beyond smart, so the big thing for a quarterback is using your eyes,” Brennan said. “With the safety or cornerback reading your eyes, knowing you’re going to one side, you have to be smart at this level and anticipate throws. The speed is a lot different.”

Brennan obviously gets what's expected of him at the next level. You can't just chunk the ball down field and hope for the best, it now becomes a mental game of cat and mouse against the best athletes on the field and he did it all week in Orlando. As I read where he said "your receivers are rarely open at this level, you have to throw them open." Which means you have to be consistently accurate and put the ball where only your guy can catch it.. And BTW we hear a lot about Brennan's size or lack there of but to be honest there were a lot of DBs in Orlando that looked dang close to Brennan's size especially in the legs and I never hear anything about them being to small to compete in the sec. Anyway, Brennan will play with his brain, his lightning fast release and his pin point accuracy and will put on the adequate weight to play soon..don't doubt it!!
