It's all part of Amazon's plan to rule the internet. A lot of people don't know this, but Amazon Prime comes with Amazon Music, which is free, but they've introduced Amazon Music Premium which grants access to something like four times the amount of songs find in the basic and it has a monthly fee. They will likely eventually do the same thing for Video, until Video and Music are both like Audible originally was before they introduced Audible Streaming Channels.
At some point, all your subscription services will run through Amazon.
