Like he said, if you can get someone to put the equipment on their land... maybe they will if they get free internet. There are several options from Ubiquiti that will beam a signal line of sight. Depending on the density of the trees it may be possible.

I live way off the main road and fire the signal from the modem I put in a shed about 800-1000ft from my house (through trees).

If I go to my left I think the like is only about 1,000 feet away. Do you think I could put in Internet there then run something from a building there to my house?
