My personal #1 would be Maison Lacour, but since we're not including fine dining, my Top 5 would consist of these:
Thai Pepper
Dang's
9 Dragon Noodle House (I prefer it over Omi)
Umami (my new favorite for sushi over Sushi Yama)
Gino's
Honorable mention:

Gino's and Zorba's are good calls. Nino's as well but that's bordering on fine dining.
