I've now had it about a week and I'm really enjoying it, however I can't seem to figure out the Internet speed. With the tv hardwired I average 60-70 mbps, and I'm on a 200 Mbps plan from my isp. Same goes for the wireless connection.

Is this tv not capable of faster speeds? Or am I missing something?

The Roku ultra device also doesn't reach max speeds, usually only around 35 Mbps when testing speed through Netflix app and connected wirelessly on the 5g network. Whereas, my appletv 4 easily hits 200mbps as well as my other devices (phone, laptop, desktop etc.)

Most devices don't, they have cheaper/slower network adapters.

PS4, Xbox One, usually reach about half the network speed as well.

My 100Mbps plan my OG PS4 would be lucky to hit 30Mbps, and the Pro which features an upgraded/newer network card is able to hit around 60Mbps for me now. Xbone S hits 50-70Mbps. This is with the ports forwarded in my router as well. Just generally how it is.

Are you running into issues or something because you should not be, the minimum to stream 4K content is 15Mbps, recommended is 25, so if you're pulling 60-70 there should be zero problems like with mine.

Thanks for the info.

And no, zero issues with streaming media except for some 4K content through The Samsung native Plex App. However, same video streamed through the Roku ultra plex app and I haven't had an issue yet.

I was mainly confused because for whatever reason the Apple TV 4 hits near the 200 mpbs when connected to the 5g wifi, hardwired it maxes out at the 100mbps.

My next question, which I think you answered, was to see if it would be worth it to trade in the Roku Ultra for the Xbox one, spend a little bit more use that as the streamer and have access to UHD blu-ray as well, but if the Xbox can't reach the 200mbps either than it's not really worth it.

What could you possibly need that speed for when you're just streaming videos?
