Composite gun stock chemical reaction

My shotgun stock seems to have "melted" or reacted with something. It's a black goo that I can't remove for anything. Leaves black on your hands that's hard to come off as well. Anyone ever seen this? Gun is a Winchester super X3.

+2. I sprayed some around us one night when I had some friends over for a card game on the patio. Melted the damn vinyl siding

DuraTouch? As others have said, deet will eat it up. Deet ate a hole in my old 4 wheeler seat.
